I'm looking for a scanner/script to find stocks currently in a zero volume area (or even near a zero volume area). The major issue is that technically if the market was open, that stock would be creating volume in that range. My main objective is to look for stocks that could potentially fly through a range that previously had zero volume (one year/two year or even three year chart). The timeframe can be adjusted once I get the script figured out but I'm not too familiar with the syntax on building something like this.
Maybe a scanner that would find stocks that have zero volume up to 10% above or below the stocks current price. It almost seems like it would require plotting a lot of data to find something like that.
